Roller Cone Bits with Air Flush
Tricone roller cone bits specifically configured for air-flush drilling in mining applications. These bits feature enlarged air channels and heavy-duty carbide inserts designed for the high weight-on-bit and percussion loads typical of rotary-percussive blast hole drilling rigs. The air flush system efficiently clears cuttings from the hole bottom without the need for liquid drilling fluid, reducing water consumption and simplifying operations in arid regions.

Pilot Bits
Pilot bits serve as the guide section for large-diameter hole opener assemblies used in mining and construction. They drill a smaller diameter pilot hole that is then enlarged by the reamer section above. Volga Burmash pilot bits are built with reinforced gauge protection and heavy-duty bearings to handle the high side loads imposed by the reaming assembly. Available in tricone and PDC configurations.

FDC Mining Bits
Fixed diamond cutter (FDC) bits designed specifically for mining drilling applications. These bits use polycrystalline diamond compact cutters mounted on a robust steel body with aggressive blade geometries. FDC mining bits offer significantly higher rates of penetration than roller cone bits in suitable formations and eliminate the bearing-related failures that can occur with tricone bits under the severe operating conditions of mining drilling.
